Main features

Dual operation mode: analog TV and DVB-T/H Conversion from analog TV broadcasting to digital terrestrial DVB-T/H is accomplished simply by front panel or by remote control.

Broad Band R.F. Amplifiers based on LDMOS Technology The R.F. output stages are implemented by two LDMOS transistors combined with 3dB 90 hybrid coupler,this is applied to all R.F. amplifiers working in BI, BIII and BIV-V

High efficiency class "AB" amplification The supply current is not constant as in class "A", but varies during the operating cycle. Thus class "AB" Amplifiers are lighter, smaller and cooler than class "A"

Metering and telecontrols Monitoring and alarm functions are available on the metering digital display, parameters and telecontrols are provided on the RS 232 serial port.

Modular construction for redundancy and easy maintenance The final amplifier made up of distinct R.F. amplifier modules combined to guarantee redundancy and easy maintenance operations.

Micro-processor control The micro-processor keeps constant watch on all operating parameters and reduces power or shuts the unit off, when appropriate, thereby providing a high degree of protection to the RF devices.

High reliability and ruggedness The high isolation of the mains transformer provides safety and reliability to the internal components, low voltage A.C. power is distributed in the cabinet to switch mode power supplies inside the R.F. modules, also exciters, blowers and ancillary equipment take isolated power from the mains transformer. The R.F. power amplifiers devices are directly mounted on the forced air cooled heat sink, to keep very low thermal resistance between the heatsink cold plate and the LDMOS transistors flanges. RF-overdrive, high VSWR, high HS temperature, Crow-Bar are standard protections.
